Vacancy Announcement – DSAbC pac position
Effective immediately, there is a vacancy for a position on the DSABC Political Action Committee. The vacancy is open to all duly qualified members in good standing in the Law Enforcement Tier.
We ask that any qualified member who is interested in seeking this position write and submit a Letter of Interest to the attention of the DSABC Board of Directors, via US Mail or hand delivery to 9200 Broadway, Ste. 106, San Antonio, TX 78217 or by email at bod@dsabc.org.
Duties of PAC members include but are not limited to:

- Conduct interviews with candidates running for political office that will have an impact on the DSABC and its members.
- Vote on any potential endorsements or expenditures for a political candidate.
Eligibility for office

- Any candidate for PAC member must be a member in good standing with the DSABC at least ninety (90) days prior to the nominations. All vacancies shall be filled with a member assigned to the same Tier (Law Enforcement).
- All rules for Nominations and Elections follow Article V of the Constitution of the Deputy Sheriff’s Association of Bexar County (DSABC).
This vacancy will close on January 11, 2022 at the close of business, 1600 hours.
After receiving all Letters of Interest, the Board of Directors will go over all applicants before setting a date and time for interviews. All interview dates and times will be posted when available.
