DSABC PAC is proud to endorse Judge Peter Sakai for Bexar County Judge. Both Commissioner Trish DeBerry and Judge Sakai, are impressive, hard-working advocates of public safety, and we are lucky to have them both on this year’s ballot. Either would be capable of steering Bexar County in a positive direction. However, Judge Sakai’s three decades of public service in Bexar County’s court system has endowed him with an invaluable understanding of the needs of an agency like the BCSO. Over his career, he has proven his ability to work with other local leaders to find solutions to real problems, by creating programs like the Family Drug Court, Early Childhood Court and the College Bound Docket for example. He has also shown his ability to rise above the fray of partisan politics and respect the rule of law when the situation requires. We believe that public safety is a top priority for Judge Sakai, and if elected, we look forward to working with him and the entire Commissioner’s Court to keep Bexar County safe!
