2025 Kenneth Vann Scholarships

The Deputy Sheriff’s Association of Bexar County understands how important an education is for the success of our youth. Our goal is to help deputies and BCSO employees provide an education to their children, as well as to provide a bright future to the most economically disadvantaged within our community. We are offering three $1500 scholarships this year. One recipient from each of three different categories of families will be selected: law enforcement families, detention families, and community families. Applicants must be graduating from high school this year and be accepted to a university or trade school. We require two letters of recommendation from somebody other than a guardian or family member. The deadline for applications is April 30, 2025.
